This collection consists of records of the Child Welfare Administrators of New Orleans, a citizen-organized body attempting to coordinate the efforts of local social agencies concerned with children's needs. Included are the organization's by-laws, announcements, agendas, minutes, correspondence, reports, and printed material. Correspondence with federal, state, and local governmental offices includes letters from Abe Ribicoff, Barbara Jordan, and Moon Landrieu. The printed program of the May 1975 Southern Regional Conference of the Child Welfare League of America is included.
